Futurist, astrologists, trend forecasters, science fiction writers...

There are countless voices speculating on what lies ahead, imagining how life might look in the future.

Shouldn’t we ask the people whose lives will be affected, the people we design products, services and communications for – everyday New Zealanders?

What are their hopes for the future? What kind of innovations do they value?

We decided to find out.

Based on a study of more than 2,000 people across Australia and New Zealand and through qualitative conversations and quantitative survey data, we were able to uncover the future they want. The signals are especially relevant for anyone shaping systems, services, and policy that touch everyday lives – including those working in Wellington’s public and government contexts.

On the morning, we will unpack:

  • The signals and sentiments shaping how people feel about the future
  • Emerging themes at both individual and societal levels.
  • How to use these insights in your own work, whatever system or service you’re helping to shape

You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with fellow marketers, innovators and researchers across Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington and leave with ideas to spark thinking for the year ahead.

Seats are limited. Join us for our first event of the year!

Be part of the morning and register below.
